Absolutely delicious food here! I couldn’t choose a sauce so I asked the server what he recommended, he recommended a garlic sauce and I did not regret it the prawns were really meaty, the rice and pea is very fragrant and has coconut flavour in it too. I would definitely come back for sure

Great food. Huge portions, a lovely intimate atmosphere. Will definitely go again...and bring friends. What a gem in sleepy Coundon Coventry. My second visit. I'm so impressed. I had to order and come back to collect because they were so busy. Food was fresh and hot. No microwave. I wad given a free rum punch as a curtesy foe having to come back. Very professional

Leave it to esmie brought their truck to my friends wedding. The food was incredible and some of the best Caribbean I have had. Everything was cooked fresh and there were meat and vegetarian and vegan options. The rice, salad and slaw were all super fresh and made that day. Plantain and dumplings were so good too. The bbq s were going all day and the smell was as good as the food. There was chicken and pork and both were sensational. I would highly recommend Esmie to anyone that wants a truck to serve food as this was sensational. Esmie and the staff were really friendly and we.lived chatting. Service was first class. Very much forward to the next time I get to try esmies good. Thanks very much

Me and the husband came to check out the new venue and we were not disappointed. Firstly we were met by Carol who made us feel very welcome, explaining the menu choices and being very attentive. Her energy made us feel right at home. Secondly the food was simply delicious. We requested the saltfish fritters as a starter - They were fragrant and tasty. I had the honey jerk salmon with rice and peas and a side of plantain. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was so, so good. The sauce that came with it didn't really taste honey or of jerk, but was sweet and sticky and complimented the salmon well. My husband went for the big man plate, which consisted of mutton, jerk chicken, rice, chips, mac and cheese, plantain, coleslaw and dumplings! He devoured the lot of it - His only comment was that the fries weren't needed on the plate, but each to their own! There wasn't any alcohol available but this didn't concern us as we went to enjoy food rather than caring about alcoholic drinks. We tried their homemade sexy juice and it was everything we had hoped for. I would highly recommend the food to everyone.

A must when in Coventry! We loved everything about this place - from the homemade ginger beer to the mango salsa to the fall off the bone beef! Bonus - all the meats are halal! Would definitely come here again! Would highly recommend the Big Mac combo! Best Caribbean food I have ever tried! A shout out to Carol for being so attentive - she made the experience even more special by checking in on us and letting us take some of the mango salsa home x
